These works remind the viewer to consider the fluidity and dynamic nature of meaning-making. It parallels, through layered symbols, shifting perspectives, and abstract concepts, how we as individuals and societies make the world around us in constant configuration and reinterpretation of meaning. These motifs give notice that interpretation doesn't stay static; it gets to change according to context, personal experience, and cultural influence. I use ambiguity and contrast to engage the viewer in playing not only a guessing game of what he sees but how our minds fill in the gaps to construct meaning. In doing so, it challenges us to realize more that understanding is as much about what has been left unsaid as what has been presented.
